Theresa is the personal assistant for Alan Taylor. She has been with WPG for over 8 years. She deals with various Conveyancing protocol and probate matters on a regular basis.
She began her career in 1968 at 16 years old as a Junior in a family firm of solicitors in SW16. She has continued on the same path to date, gradually working her way up the ladder and picking up a wealth of legal knowledge along the way.
Not having any formal qualifications after leaving school at 16 years; she undertook a word processing course in the 1980’s and further on whilst working at a firm in Queen Anne Street she was sponsored to undertake a Licensed Conveyancers course at Regents College.
Working in conveyancing always carries challenges when dealing with both clients and the working environment. She admits that undertaking the licensed conveyancers course was the most challenging given that she did not have the benefit of any kind of legal qualifications, but only those picked up along the way, and working within a legal environment.
She has enjoyed working in the legal field and has been self-sufficient in learning various aspects, whilst trying to keep up with the various changes in law. She enjoys being able to help people through the process of selling and buying their house and she notes that it can be as traumatic a process to them as getting married.
Her hobbies include gardening, reading, the theatre, music and walks with her little Chihuahua, Pitucu.
